How do search for instruments?

- Anyone can search for instruments.
Overview
All counties that publish their records online allow for free, unlimited access to the record details.
You do not need an account to access these records; they are completely free for public access.
Steps to searching for instruments

Choose the county you wish to search for instruments in.
You can select your county from the Oklahoma map on the main page, or through the drop-down menu in the county navigation near the top-left side of your screen.

Once you choose your county, you will be presented with the searching form where you can use any combination of criteria to find the records you're looking for.
The more information you provide, the more specific the search results will be.
- You may use wildcards in any free-form search field. Asterisks (*) and question marks (?) are the two primary wildcards.

After you perform a search, you will be shown the results from the criteria you entered.
Several unique options may be available depending on various things.
- You will always be able to view the record details which will include any textual information the county publishes that is related to that instrument.
- If the record has images available on-line, you will be able to view them and purchase copies.
