How do I view images?
Prerequisites
Overview
Many County Clerk offices scan their daily filings into their computer systems, as well as older documents that were filed many years ago.
Both daily progress and the back-scanned images are updated and available online, usually by the following day.
Steps to viewing images
-
Search for the instrument you would like to view.
Be sure that the instruments you are trying to view have images attached to it, since not all instruments will have images.
-
To begin viewing the instrument images, select the "view images" option from the search results page.
- Some counties charge for access to view images. The price to view specific instruments will be listed next to the "view images" option and does not vary based on how many pages a single instrument might have.
- If you are viewing images from a county that charges an access fee, the amount will be automatically debited from your account. You will have access to that image again for up to 90 days at no additional charge.
