For the purpose of preserving, maintaining, and archiving recorded instruments including, but not limited to, records management, records preservation, automation, modernization, and related lawful expenditures, in addition to all other fees required by law, the county clerk shall collect $5.00 for each instrument recorded with the Registrar of Deeds.
The tax shall be prorated at the rate of $0.75 for each $500.00 of the consideration or any fractional part thereof. See Oklahoma Statute Title 68 Section 3201 for additional details.
