API Tips

  • When testing, use the results_per_page parameter to save on free daily results.
  • Get the cost estimate of downloading all the results of a search by running it once with a low results_per_page limit. The API-Total-Result-Count and API-Total-Image-Count headers can be used to calculate a cost estimate.
  • Use the modified_date parameters to have the API return new instruments and old instruments that have been updated.
